| You will be given a 4 count and then play C with a down stroke on beat 1. You then want to pick the open D string with an up on the '&' of beat 2 (in between beat 2 and 3) .The dotted quarter note is worth one and a half beats. Try to play it 5 times in a row without a mistake before moving on to page 2. Just concentrate on getting through the 3 pages at half speed first. |
