Hi, my name is Teague and I am a professional guitarist/educator. The members section of this site is a complete guitar method I've created to make learning the guitar fun and easy!
The site is a result of 20 years teaching experience to help you become the kind of guitar player you want to be. Whether it be for your own enjoyment, jamming with friends at a campfire or playing in a band, the members section will provide the material to make it happen!
You will learn how to strum and switch between chords quickly and efficiently. You will learn how to use a pick and how to play finger style. The lessons progress at your own pace with each new idea expanding on previous ideas to constantly reinforce what you have already learned. From complete beginner to advanced you will learn scales, theory, ear training, arpeggios, reading and technique.
Plus learn how and what to practice to get the results you want.
I have carefully chosen riffs and songs to accompany the material in each lesson. From Led Zepplin to Coldplay and Metallica to Jason Mraz, I use a variety of styles to make it interesting and fun!
I have been working hard on building an entirely new site! The same great material and lessons will be on it but delivered in a much easier to use platform! Plus lots of new lessons!
I have been lucky enough to earn my living as a professional musician since 1991 and since 1995 have taught anywhere from 45-96 students a week. I started this site in 1999 to give the students I taught in person each week a way to get help with the lesson topics online. As the site grew and more people started using it, I began focusing on making it a complete online method for anyone, anywhere in the world.
