Hello hello, so it has been an interesting last bunch of weeks. Overall things are going well. Still not much in the way of money coming in and my savings is disappearing fast however I feel good most of the time. I’m still very excited and very happy with the way things are moving along with the site. I started my first Facebook ad campaign a few days ago and it is going well. Not profiting but collecting email addresses of people interested in guitar and online guitar lessons. And I am about to start a 2nd campaign. I have been spending a lot of time educating myself with online marketing and really learning as much as I can about Facebook ads.
The new site is really still a very long way from where I ideally would like it to be as far as dumping money into marketing but I feel I don’t have a choice. Both for financial reasons and motivation.
Once again this whole thing with the Roxy ending and working full time on the site has made me so aware of my mindset and how I think about everything moving forward. When I feel positive and excited, I can get a tremendous amount of work done in a day but if I am not careful the gatekeeper falls asleep and I find myself not doing so well. Overall it seems to be less of the dark and more of the light 🙂
This picture below is just a part of the notes I have made for myself over the course of the last bunch of weeks. And yes I should probably be using an organizational site but I still like to old school it with paper and pen. Maybe that will change in the next bit here. Oh and that bed spread is from when I was a kid growing up in NB. It had been in a closet for decades and I thought it should come back out. I used to play with my hot wheel cars on it and use all the lines as roads. lol Maybe myself and my youngest will get his cars out for a pic. That would be kinda cool and fun for both of us 🙂
As far as the site is concerned I am working on so many lessons. I have now decided I will finish them in the order people want to see them. So if you have something you are interested in, you should use the contact at the top or bottom and let me know.
Lastly, and probably something I am just as excited about as the site, if not more even, is that I have been writing a bunch. It started as a break from working on the site but it has turned into something I am doing almost daily. Best part is that I have been live streaming the process on a site called pocketlive.tv

In upcoming blogs I am sure I will talk more about that and tripfuse and writing and really why I picked up the guitar in the first place over 30 years ago now. Yikes. I’m getting old.
Well that was my break, now back to work on the site 🙂
